Come and experience the Islands of Hawai`i, Tahiti, Samoa and Aotearoa during our Polynesian Cultural Festival at The Shops at Mauna Lani.
Play fun Hawaiian games such as Ulu Maika (Lawn Bowling) and Konane (Checkers). Join in on the Tahitian Drumming or weave a coconut leaf headband and spin the Samoan Fire Knife. You can also get your face painted like a Maori warrior. Learn how to do dance hula and twirl the Maori poi balls as they have lessons for keiki (children) and adults alike.
Delicious Gourmet foods, including Kona Dogs, Sweet Eatz Gelato, Cupcakes and Manuela’s made-to-order Malasadas are available to tempt your taste buds along with their fine restaurants Tommy Bahama, Monstera Noodles & Sushi, Under The Bodhi Tree and Ruth’s Chris Steak House.
The highlight of the evening is their famous 30 minute Polynesian Hula and Fire Knife Dance show followed by souvenir picture taking with the performers of Te `E`a O Te Turama.
The festival happens monthly every third Monday of each month from 5:30pm to 8:00pm.
