Waikoloa Dry Forest Initiative presents the 5th annual Wiliwili Festival 9/12 at the Waikoloa Stables from 9 am to 3 pm. Keiki activities, forest tours, music, local vendors, native plant giveaway, silent auction.
Rodeo events begin at noon both Saturday Sept 5 and Sunday Sept 6 at the Parker Ranch Rodeo Arena in Waimea. Events include team roping, double mugging, Po’o Wai u, bull riding, junior bull riding, Wahine barrel racing, keiki barrel racing, keiki sheep riding, Wahine steer undecorating, and ribbon roping. Events run until 5:00 p.m. There is also a horse auction Sunday morning.
Tickets are $8 at the gate. Children 12 and under are free.

Parker School will host a day of celebration on Saturday, September 26, 2015 from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Celebration activities inside Kahilu Hall will include talk-story with local historians, vintage photo displays, saddle and lei making, tours by student docents and a short film on the history of Parker Ranch. In addition, attendees will enjoy music and entertainment, a cooking demonstration, and interactive games for kids. This event is free and the community is encouraged to attend. Food and beverages will be sold to support varies programs at the school.

Junior golf is back for the summer. The program consists of 4 sessions of golf instruction, one each Sunday from July 12 to Aug 2, 2015. Classes run from 2:30 to 4:00. All kids 7 and older are invited.
There is room for 25 kids. To make sure you have a spot, sign up early at the Waikoloa Village Golf Course Pro Shop.
The $40.00 registration fee covers instruction, a shirt or cap, prizes, awards, and refreshments.
