Spaghetti Bingo Night at Waikoloa Stables Oct 16

Waikoloa Lions Club presents Spaghetti Bingo Night at Waikoloa Stables on Friday, October 16, 2015, at 5:30 pm. Dinner and prizes. Fun for all. $8.00 includes dinner and 1 bingo card. Additional bingo cards available for suggested donation of $2.00 each.

Wiliwili Festival Sept 12 Waikoloa Stables

Waikoloa Dry Forest Initiative presents the 5th annual Wiliwili Festival 9/12 at the Waikoloa Stables from 9 am to 3 pm. Keiki activities, forest tours, music, local vendors, native plant giveaway, silent auction.

Parker Ranch Labor Day Rodeo Sept 5 & 6 Waimea

Rodeo events begin at noon both Saturday Sept 5 and Sunday Sept 6 at the Parker Ranch Rodeo Arena in Waimea. Events include team roping, double mugging, Po’o Wai u, bull riding, junior bull riding, Wahine barrel racing,  keiki barrel racing, keiki sheep riding, Wahine steer undecorating, and ribbon roping. Events run until 5:00 p.m. There is also a horse auction Sunday morning.

Tickets are $8 at the gate. Children 12 and under are free.

Paniolo Day Celebration at Parker School Waimea Sept 26

Parker School will host a day of celebration on Saturday, September 26, 2015 from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Celebration activities inside Kahilu Hall will include talk-story with local historians, vintage photo displays, saddle and lei making, tours by student docents and a short film on the history of Parker Ranch. In addition, attendees will enjoy music and entertainment, a cooking demonstration, and interactive games for kids. This event is free and the community is encouraged to attend. Food and beverages will be sold to support varies programs at the school.

Kahilu Theatre Family Fun Day Aug. 15 Waimea

A free family fun day at the Kahilu Theatre on Saturday between 10:00 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Moco the clown, Red Robyn, balloon magic, face painting, music and family shows.

Also dance, theater, and juggling classes.

Mega Sports Camp July 20-24 Ho’oko Park, Waikoloa

Hawaii Summer Science Camp 2015

FOR THE SUMMER OF 2015, Science Camps of America is hosting two sessions: Land & Sea Camp will be held June 29-July 8 and Air & Space Camp from July 9-18.

Science Camp is a unique opportunity for teens to get out into the field to learn science, do science, meet scientists, make new friends and enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Each day, we head out across the island to learn about volcanoes, the ocean, plants, animals, stars and more. Join us for this fantastic science learning adventure! A few scholarships and financial aid opportunities remain available.
